Why you’d want it:
The Classic Shell sounds like something that Leonardo would wear, but instead it’s a folio style case with a light texture on the front. That’s a good thing, given that the basic iPhone 6 is quite a slippery creature. The side rubber buttons are solid and work well with the iPhone 6’s volume and power buttons. As with Tech21’s other cases, a layer of its orange D3O impact absorbent material lines the sides of the case, and the front and rear flaps provide a decent level of protection as well.
Why you wouldn’t:
It’s not exactly the most stylish of cases unless your phone usage is strictly business only. As with most mid- to high protection cases, keeping the mute switch protected involves it being deeply embedded within the case, making it hard to access.
