iPhone 6 Case Reviews: Lifeproof, STM, PADACS, Belkin, Tech21, 3SIXT, Otterbox

It didn’t take too long for iPhone 6 compatible cases to hit the market. A case still makes good sense to protect your iPhone investment — but which one should you buy?
I’ve grown used to the idea that as soon as new iPhone models are announced, I’ll be inundated with press releases touting the new case designs “coming very soon”. That caveat is an important one, because while case makers follow the same rumours that everyone else does, until Apple formally makes the dimensions of its new phones available, producing cases is tricky. I’ve seen more than a few announcements, but not that many actual assessments of cases, which is what I’m doing here.
I’m planning to extend this feature as and when I can source new cases, so if you’re reading this and thinking “Hey! I have a case that Alex could review” then drop me a line!
As always, the choice of a case is one that’s a mix of style and functionality choices. Not everyone needs a folio style case, and equally not everyone will dislike a hot pink case in the way that, for example, I do. I’ve assessed each case on its features, price and where it’s likely to thrill you — or leave you annoyed.
