iOS 8.1.2 addresses an issue that users who buy ringtones may hit. Wait… people still buy ringtones?
Ringtones? I mean, really? I guess somebody must have been, and there must have been an issue with them under iOS 8.1.1. You learn something new every day.
The ringtone issue is perhaps the most surprising bit of this morning’s iOS 8.1.2 update, although it also promises “bug fixes” for other unstated issues. It’s a pretty small download at 28MB, and your iOS device should prompt you to download it.
If you don’t want to wait that long, head to Settings>General>Software Update, and if your iOS device is capable of the iOS 8.1.2 update it should pick it up from there.
