The dark side of tech support

Posted on July 28, 2014September 15, 2018 by Alex

Many, many years ago, I worked as a tech support operative for a major PC maker. This is the story of what I learned along the way.
In many ways it feels like it was a lifetime ago, but over at Lifehacker I’ve written up the top five things I learned while working as a phone tech support operative. I wasn’t exactly a high flier in that career, although it’s not one that will suit everybody anyway. Bonus appearance by WWE’s Seamus, just to make it fun.
Plus, there were Kangaroo bodily fluids involved. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
So go and read it now!

Hey, I notice you're using an AdBlocking plugin of some sort. Smart move -- there's a lot of sites with very questionable ads on them out there! But mine shouldn't be one of them, and it's just a one-man show. Could you kindly whitelist the site so I can afford to keep it going?
