Jordan Mechner remade Karateka last year to a mixed reaction. I rather liked it, but many didn’t. If it didn’t tickle your nostalgia glands just right, how about the Apple II original?
Karateka Classic has just popped up on the Australian App store for the very tasty price of 99c. Sure, yes, you could pirate it and emulate it, but I reckon if effort’s been put in to actually port it and give some options for presentation and playback, that’s got to be worth a buck.
