Because the lairs of those who would plot to take over the world don’t just build themselves.
Good Old Games has a special on Evil Genius this weekend, selling it for the discount price of $3.99. It works on PC and Mac, and given its 2004 release date, it should run on just about any PC or Mac you happen to be using.
Evil Genius is a base building sim in the style of Dungeon Keeper, but with a 60’s Bond-esque theme instead.
The visuals are charming, the traps are ingenious and while the agent AI sometimes doesn’t live up to your own particular twisted genius, it’s still going to be four bucks well spent.

Iโll take three highlights products that are not only discounted, but which I reckon are good value as well. Cheap isnโt always the same thing as great.
Thanks! I didn’t grab 3.. just 1 ๐ I did have this game when it was originally released but never fully got into it. I will this time ๐
Another oldie that I got recently that I have been thoroughly enjoying, though it isn’t on special, is Magic Carpet 2.. plays flawlessly on Win7 through DOSBox (which is included in the installation) and is just as awesome as I remember it.
So many of my old games I enjoyed don’t keep the same awesomeness as I remember them but MC2 is definitely one that did keep its awesomeness ๐
