Doctor Who hits Sydney in Vivid fashion

The Vivid festival will include a Doctor Who themed light show at Customs House in Sydney on June 1st, with a cinema screening of Asylum Of The Daleks and The Angels Take Manhattan just beforehand to keep your Who glands moistened.
Hmm.. not sure I actually have Who glands, or indeed that anybody (even me) wants to think about them being moist. That aside, Vivid Sydney has announced it’s having a special 50th Anniversary celebration of Who night at Customs House Sydney:

BBC Worldwide Australia & New Zealand and Vivid Sydney invite you to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who for One Night ONLY!
From 6.50pm on Saturday 1st June, 2013, experience Doctor Who as you have never seen it before. Witness a free spectacle of light and sound at Customs House Sydney as the Doctor and his TARDIS travel through space and time encountering some of his deadliest enemies.
Come to Vivid at Customs House dressed up as your favourite monster or character from Doctor Who on the night and enter our competition to win amazing Doctor Who prizes!
Projection Times for Customs House: 6.50pm, 7.50pm, 8.50pm, 9.50, 10.50pm, 11.50pm

Dendy’s showing the two episodes throughout the night on a special $20 ticket; I wasn’t a great fan of Angels, but the prospect of seeing Daleks on the big screen again is tempting – and arguably better value than the pop-up shop if The Wumpus is to be believed. Full ticket details for the Cinema screenings are here, while Vivid’s details are here.
