The season finale of Doctor Who left a lot of unanswered questions. Some of them, clearly, will have to wait until the 50th Anniversary special — or possibly beyond — but the BBC’s seen fit to clear up one little mystery. Warning: There be spoilers within if you haven’t seen “The Name Of The Doctor”.

OK, no huge surprises there, given that the rest of the story revealed that, frankly, at some point Admiral Ackbar should have popped up, but still, it’s nice to have the details fully fleshed out.
