Thoughts on Avengers: Endgame
My very-definitely-spoiler-filled observations on Avengers: Endgame.
Not that I knew the man personally — but then he was a larger than life figure.
Marvel’s Avengers assemble for the second time, and for the most part they avoid the obvious curses of sequels, although Marvel’s overall continuity still weighs heavy.
Excelsior! Disney Infinity returns with Disney Infinity 2.0: Marvel Super Heroes, a more videogame-centric take on the Infinity concept, but one that doesn’t lose sight of the joy of simple “play”.
Or maybe just a few more than that. To celebrate San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel’s running a special on its Marvel Unlimited digital subscription service, offering access to the vast majority of its back catalogue for 99c.
The big blue boy scout returns. Stuff explodes. Also, there is a lift.
It’s US TV show pitching season, which means all sorts of hype reels are out there vying for your attention. Few have quite as much hype as Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. But Marvel’s been down this road before with less than stellar results.
Marvel’s comics subscription service has launched on Android smartphones and tablets. Somewhere (presuming he’s not currently dead/inactive/disassembled) I’m sure The Vision is smiling at that news.
