The iPad version of Sid Meier’s Pirates! is especially excellent — and right now, it’s exceptionally cheap, too.

I’ll take three highlights products that are not only discounted, but which I reckon are good value as well. Cheap isn’t always the same thing as great.

Also.. I notice that it doesn’t chew through the battery like some games do.. I’ve played for a few hours now and I’ve gone from 72% to 34% battery.. and that might seem like a lot but when you think it is an economy simulation game as much as an adventure/action game.. it’s quite good compared to many other games that appear to be doing much more..
