Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear arriving in Australia October 3rd

Want Samsung’s shiny new Galaxy Note 3, or the companion Galaxy Gear smartwatch? Pre-orders start today, but you’ll have to wait until October 3rd to actually get your hands on either.
Luke at Gizmodo is reporting that the Note 3 will sell for $999 off contract — telco pricing is yet to be announced — while the Galaxy Gear will cost $369. Given the Note 3 is the only phone that’ll work with the Galaxy Gear — Samsung tells me that it’ll have to go through carrier firmware upgrade processes for older handsets — it’s fair to assume that there will also be bundled deals for phone plus watch coming a little later.
