The internet was ablaze not long ago with Neill Blomkamp’s concept sketches of how he’d treat the Alien franchise. Now it appears that his visions could be becoming reality.
The source for this particular snippet the same (unverified) Twitter account that leaked out the pictures in the first place, which just tweeted out the following:
Presumably Blomkamp has been cleared to actually make that announcement, but it’s hardly a done deal and finished film just yet. Remember, this is Hollywood, and all sorts of things can happen behind closed doors.
The whole project could spend years in development hell before they decide to take off and nuke it from orbit, for a start*.
