The significant upgrades in the iPhone 5s include an A7 processor that Apple claims is twice as fast at CPU and GPU tasks, an inbuilt motion co-processor dubbed M7 that’ll track ongoing physical changes, an improved camera that takes the route of larger pixel sites to enhance photos. As is usually the way with Apple, exact battery specifications haven’t been disclosed. A fingerprint sensor built into the home button allows for unlocking and enabling iTunes store purchases.

The iPhone 5s will ship in three colours: Silver, Gold and “Space Grey”.
What about local availability? It’ll go on sale in Australia on September 20th — which means once again Australia will get the iPhone 5s before it (officially) goes on sale anywhere else in the world. Outright it’ll cost $869 (16GB), $999 (32GB) or $1,129 (64GB). Telstra, Optus and Vodafone will offer them on contract as well, but no announcements regarding contract pricing have yet been made.
