The managing director of Intel Australia is taking to the streets — quite literally, as she’s taking part in Vinnie’s CEO Sleepout which will see her sleeping out on Sydney’s streets on June 20th while raising funds and awareness of Australia’s homelessness situation.
Kate Burleigh’s page for the CEO Sleepout indicates she’s just a few dollars short of her $9,000 target right now. While there’s a small quantity of Intel-spruiking on the page, I reckon that’s fair enough given the overall social good that efforts like this can achieve, both in raising funds and awareness of the issues facing the homeless community.
