I love technology, but there’s precious little in tech that doesn’t require a trickle of power, and that stuff is expensive. Naturally, there are gadgets designed to help curb those kinds of costs.
Over at BIT.com.au, I’ve looked over five gadgets designed to help cut your power bill, either through sensible management or switching off policies. While BIT’s core market are small biz owners, it’s relevant for consumers as well, although as with all of these devices, the savings come over serious periods of time. If you want to cut your power bill instantly try, say, switching off the heater, put on a jumper and perhaps look at using hot water bottles rather than electric blankets.
