ABC Radio will run a special pop-up digital radio station to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who.
The ABC Extra station will run nothing but Doctor Who material, 24 hours a day — because while ABC Radio studios are often referred to as Tardises, they don’t actually have any to speak of — from 6:30am on Sunday morning until midnight the following Saturday.
Given that kickoff time is also when The Day Of The Doctor is being screened, I suspect that Silence will fall until the end of the special.
After that, though, it’s promising everything from talkback to comedy to interviews to music.
Which inevitably means this, doesn’t it?
