Apple's (Product) RED sales raise $65 million

They’re not quite as obvious as, say, a gold iPhone, but Apple’s line of RED products has raised $65 million to fund the fight against AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.
Apple doesn’t comment on its charity initiatives at all — and I mean I don’t think I’ve ever seen a comment from Apple on them — which has led to a lot of scorn over the years relating to the charitable aspect of the company.
Indeed, the $65 million figure didn’t come from an Apple spokesperson, unless U2 frontman Bono has snuck onto the board when I wasn’t looking.

Bono talked about Product (RED) noting that “Apple is certainly leading the crew” with $65 million raised so far.
