Ravenous Games’ League Of Evil series aren’t easy games — not by a long stretch. But they’re amongst the best touch-based platform games you can buy… except in the case of League Of Evil 2, which is free right now.
I reviewed League of Evil 2 for PC User (which means it was, indeed, quite some time ago), noting that while it dropped the retro pixel look I loved in the original, it retained the rock-hard challenge that defines the series. Getting through each level isn’t impossible, but getting through with a three star rating is something else indeed. At the low low price of free — to promote the upcoming League Of Evil 3, naturally — it’s an absolute winner.
