Surface Pro 3 Week: Day Two: On the road

Today ended up being a much more out of the office day than I’d originally anticipated, and that gave me a lot more time to test the Surface Pro 3 while out and about in the same way that I would normally do with a Macbook Air.
There’s an obvious point that switching from Mac OS to Windows 8 involves a certain amount of retraining, simply because they perform certain tasks in different ways. Yes, I’ve had to relearn and rethink a few things in my workflow, but I’m keen for this not to become YABWVMA.
You may be thinking: What’s a YABWVMA?
YET ANOTHER BORING WINDOWS VERSUS MAC ARGUMENT.

Been there, done that, bought the T-shirt. Anyone who starts droning on about “more intuitive” or similar rubbish gets very short shrift with me, because it’s all really a matter of learning. That’s not what this is about.
Back on point: As a laptop, I’m pleasantly surprised with the Surface Pro 3 for the most part, although there are a few quirks that are emerging as I shift my workflow over to it.
