The iPad Air has a 15% smaller battery than its predecessors. What does that mean in real world battery terms? Also, should you buy the iPad Air 2 or the iPad Mini 3?

I’m impressed in some respects with what Apple’s done to battery life on the iPad Air 2, while at the same time there are aspects that annoy me. In the meantime, I find fewer and fewer reasons to stump up the cash for the iPad Mini 3.
