I really rather liked the original Shrek film. It was clever, witty, mostly original and nicely done for its time.
Since that time, though, Hollywood has done its level best to suck all the originality and wit out of Shrek, which doesn’t leave much beyond a series of increasingly disappointing films and video games that are somehow much worse. I’ve reviewed the latest effort over at CNET.com.au:
Shrek Forever After: “It’s competently put together in the visual stakes, but the gameplay is more on the nose than Shrek’s big green stinky feet.

There. That’s all you need to know. Can I go home now, please?
