MotoGoogle & 3D Camcorders

The Motorola/Google deal makes my head hurt. 3D also makes my head hurt. Somehow, I’m covering both today.
At the ABC, I’ve analysed the acquisition of Motorola Mobility by Google. Just me and the other 250,000 commentators on the Web, then, but did they have a mockup of the Google RAZR ready to go? No, they did not!
Will Motorola supercharge Google’s Android, or is it just all about patent wars? “Given that Motorola Mobility lost something in the region of US$56 million in the second quarter of 2011, the question that springs up is why Google went all-in to buy Motorola Mobility in the first place…”
Meanwhile, at CNET Australia, I make a rare foray into 3D technology, reviewing Panasonic’s excellent little camcorder. And yes, I did even test the optional 3D lens, and yes, it did make me queasy. I guess I’m just lucky like that.
Panasonic HDC-HS900: “Panasonic’s 3D-capable 3MOS camcorder offers an impressive array of features and top-quality shooting, but it’s not a light model to carry around, especially with the optional 3D lens bolted on.”
