I'm not a man (Jerome!) (He's an adventure…)

Why not start the day off with a near incomprehensible lyric from one of the worst musicals of all time?*
Why not, indeed? pcafeb09
While you ponder that, you can also ponder new written works of mine. Yes, annoying segues are still very much here to stay in 2009, folks.
Kicking things off, there’s the February 2009 issue of Australian PC Authority magazine (are there other national PC Authorities with which I am not au fait?), which has a heady concentration of my content towards the back of the magazine. As well as a headshot; if you’ve ever wanted to know what I look like, it’s all there. As is the Mac column, focusing on how to take your Mac on the road (another legacy of the Adelaide road trip), Apple news, and reviews of iAntiVirus and SuperDuper!. Jump along a few pages to Games Labs, and you’ll find my writeups of the latest games news, as well as an EA double-header, with reviews of Dead Space and Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3, a game which somehow takes itself less seriously than I do…
Meanwhile, in the Web world, I managed to prove myself wrong last year; the review of the Kogan 42″ LCD TV wasn’t my final published story for 2008; that particular accolade falls to another Kogan product, and again at CNET.com.au:
Kogan Blu-Ray Player: “Kogan’s budget line Blu-Ray player has excellent playback, and is even region free. At the same time, there’s a significant and crippling concession to be made, and at the current RRP, it’s a concession that we’d argue is a bit too much to bear.”
*Although the soundtrack for said awful musical has some excellent actual music. Sometimes, you just can’t win.
