I can't actually use the song lyric here…

Because, well, it’s this. Quite randomly from an 80’s streaming radio service, but there it is, and the rules* say I have to use the music I’m listening to at the time as my subject line.
And I can’t be part of that Meme.
I also seemingly can’t keep up with myself when it comes to my writing work, although this week it’s also because I’m flat out with the kids (on school holidays) during the day and then working at night. It’s like I’ve dropped through a time warp back to 2006, when I did this roughly 330 days a year.
In any case, this was up at PC Authority yesterday:
Vodafone responds to Optus price hikes: “As Optus halves allowances, Vodafone cuts prices. Wireless broadband is getting really interesting…”
And stretching back a little further, at CNET.com.au:
HP Pavilion dv5-1050tx: “The sleek design and good performance of the HP Pavilion dv5-1050tx makes it a solid contender, but don’t plan on removing the power cord any time soon…”
And I know what you’re thinking — and you’re right. There is more.
Specifically the November issue of PC User Magazine. Rip one off the wall of your local Newsagency — and ask why they’re nailing them to the walls, but only after you’ve paid for it — and within you’ll find my reviews of the Apple iTunes Movie Store, the Epson EB-1735W Projector and the Palm Treo Pro.
And the latest issue of Australian Macworld magazine, which is once again enlightened with my words of wisdom on the very last page. I would say more, but I like to keep you in suspense.
And while you’re there, buying those two, pick up a copy of Australian Netguide Magazine. It’s brimming with my writing work. Don’t believe me? Check out this list, all but one of which I’ve reviewed this month:

Epson Perfection V700 Photo, CanonCanoScan 8800F, HP Photosmart C8180, Spore, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2008, Buzz Quiz TV, Too Human, Canon Powershot A470, Canon Digital Ixus 80IS, Fujifilm Finepix J10, Kodak Easyshare V1273, Nikon Coolpix S520, Nikon Coolpix S210, Panasonic LS80, Samsung i8, Sony Cybershot DSC-H10, Sony Cybershot DSC-T300, Vodafone Wireless Internet Stick, iTunes Movie Store, The Walrus And The Carpenter Went Walking Hand In Hand, Pinnacle Studio Ultimate 12, Kodak High Speed USB 2GB Flash Drive, Kodak ESP 5 All-In One Printer, Toshiba Portable External Hard Drive 320GB, Corel MediaOne Plus, PC Tools Desktop Maestro 3 and finally the Jabra SP700.
That should keep anybody busy. And provide you with a baffling brainteaser to finish this catchup blog post with (hint: It’s the product with the moustache and the nails).
* Rules I’ve written myself, and that I self-police very, very poorly.
