“Happy Happy Happy Happy Birthday (Birthday)”
Wow. Five years. As of today.
A lot can happen in five years. I’ve changed jobs (multiple times) and, of course, our family has expanded even more.
Five years ago, however, things were looking distinctly less rosy (and that’s even discounting the current bout of Chickenpox that we’re suffering through. My lovely wife has done a far better job than I ever could of summing up what our moods were five years ago — you can read it here — and those moods continued for the next very fraught month. The following four plus years, however, have been a learning, enriching and above all blessed experience for all of us, and I couldn’t be prouder of my little girl.
