There’s a really blatant Pokémon clone on the iOS app store that’s doing very well for its creators. That’s money that Nintendo could make with a shift to mobile — but should they?
I don’t tend to think so, despite the fact that many are clamouring for iOS or Android versions of classic Nintendo franchises.
Over at Techly, I’ve laid out my thoughts on why a shift to mobile development would be a poor move for Nintendo right now. It’s not impossible, but it would seem like daft strategy to me.
