Shadow Warrior for Free? I'll take three!

The mid 1990s were the saw a plethora of Doom-style FPS games with a strong focus on arcade action. Shadow Warrior exemplifies this trend, and right now it can be yours for the low, low price of nothing.
It’s available via Steam (PC or Mac) and is just the original executable running via a DOSBox shell. If that screenshot doesn’t make it obvious, this isn’t a game for the younger set, and yes, indeed, it has aged quite a bit visually. I can’t say that it’s the greatest game of its time — I’d still fire up Doom over it, for a start — but for some basic run, gun and splat action at this price, it’s hard to argue with.

I’ll take three highlights things that are not only discounted, but which I reckon are good value as well. Cheap isn’t always the same thing as great.
