No, you can't enable "Developer Mode" on your Mac to get free apps

MacWipeFake
Another day, another “comedy” scam disguised as a way to get apps for free on your Mac. Except this one would wipe your hard drive.
I’ve seen the below image circulating around social media today, usually with a few “funny” comments appended to it.
Before we go any further: Just don’t do this. It’ll wipe your primary drive clean, and that’s all it will do.
So now you know. The chances are you weren’t going to fall for this anyway, but there’s always somebody who thinks “Well, what harm could it do?”
The answer? Quite a bit.
