This I had not seen before — the raw footage version of two episodes of The Young Ones. It’s a fascinating look behind the scenes of one of my all-time favourite sitcoms.
It’s also very grainy, but you get that off what is undoubtedly a copy direct from the cutting edge technology of the 1980s, namely a VHS VCR. Or I suppose it could have been Beta.
It’s also probably going to be pulled by the BBC rather sharpish, so watch while you can.
Fascinating stuff, especially in light of the sad passing of Rik Mayall.
Mondayitis features aren’t particularly serious. Did that really need explaining?
