Final Fantasy VII Is Out On iOS (And Will Empty Your Bank Account)

Final Fantasy VII, the most popular entry in Square’s Final Fantasy series is finally available in English on iOS. It’s not exactly budget priced, however.
That shouldn’t come as too much of a shock, given that Square Enix doesn’t really do budget-priced mobile titles. Still, for a game that’s apparently a port of the PC version (current Steam price: $US11.99), the asking price of $19.99 might give some folks pause for thought. In the mobile world, that’s absolute top tier pricing.
Of course, it’s still Final Fantasy VII, so there’s easily dozens of hours of play to be had out of what is still a classic game. If you’ve never played it before and you’re iOS-only, what are you waiting for?
Final Fantasy VII is available for iOS as a universal app, and you’ll need around 4GB of free space to install it on a compatible device.
