Who’s up for a bit of marketing synergy? It’s not enough for Google Maps to know every nook and cranny of, say, the Great Barrier Reef. Now it’s verging into fictional territory with a Chrome Experiment that’ll take you into the world of Middle Earth.
OK, this appears to be a little bit more than just a map, although the QTE-ness of that Troll fight appears to be a bit on the lame side. Still, Google would really, really like you to use Chrome, just in case you weren’t aware of that. It’s not afraid to use dragons to get what it wants. Bear that in mind.
