Remember when iOS releases were big news? Apple rather casually announced the release of iOS 8.2 this morning, and now you can download it.
When I say casually, it really was just a line in the middle of another bit of spiel, simply stating that iOS 8.2 would be available today, which it now is.
Be ready to hit your download quota hard, however. On an iPad Air the update measured in at 385MB, while an iPhone 6 wanted 476MB to update.
What do you get for all that data? Compatibility with the just-announced Apple Watch, improvements to the Health App and the always-present-with-every-iOS-update “increased stability and bug fixes”.
