Android Apps start arriving for Chromebooks

The first set of Android apps for Chromebook users have rolled out, but the selection is quite small.
Back at Google I/O in June it was first announced that Chromebooks would be getting access to Android Apps as part of a plan to extend Google’s ecosystem and make Chromebooks a more attractive prospect.
The first set of apps are now available if you’re a Chromebook user, although the selection is quite small. Duolingo, Evernote, Sight Words, and Vine are the first four apps available, with more promised to come from “a select group of Android developers”, according to Google.
