NBN: FTTN will go slow, make less, be inadequate

The government FTTN plan for broadband is cited as “inadequate” and “unlikely to be completed on time” according to internal NBN Co reports.

David Braue over at the SMH has a great piece on the report, prepared by NBN Co for the incoming Abbott government that suggests that the 2016 25Mbps deadline is unlikely to be hit. Moreover, many businesses would need to pay extra due to the lack of business-class features under the FTTN model, and finally, the revenue projections for NBN Co are likely to fall apart due to cherry-picking from HFC and alternate network providers.
