Stories abound on the Internet. Here’s some thought pieces to tide over your Friday lunchtime, covering everything from cheap iOS games to the death by quarter cuts of the NBN, plus added Adam West. Because you can never have too much Adam West.

- Bummer. Moore’s Cloud has gone into liquidation, according to Leon Spencer at ZDNet. I really liked the Light when I first laid eyes on it, and would still spend my own money on one.
- Nic Healey spoke to Adam West – yeah, that Adam West – about being “the luckiest actor in the world”, relating to the new Lego Batman game.
- According to Annabel Hepworth at The Australian, the revised NBN plan will only offer FTTP to 25 per cent of Australian premises. At which point I’d strongly argue that it’s no longer a “national” network, but I sadly think that argument’s already been lost.
- I love this piece at Kotaku Australia relating to the trade in unreleased games, simply because it’s a fascinating battle between corporate secrecy, greed and historical preservation.
- Independence Day 2? Yeah, it’s going to be a thing. I’m not confident it’ll be a good thing, mind you (and I adore the cheesy US-centric gung-ho-ism of the original, for what that’s worth)
- As TouchArcade notes, there’s a whole lot of iOS games on sale right now to coincide with Thanksgiving. Between that and the Steam sales, you should be able to find something to keep you busy.
Lunchtime reading is just that; stories I’ve hit during the day that have stuck with me for any of a number of reasons. Read them, and learn things — that’s how the Internet works, folks.
