Cavalcade of… stuff

I write a lot most of the time. Then there are the weeks where I write so much, if I didn’t know I was me, I’d accuse myself of being a small army of Bolivian Word Midgets. This is clearly one of them.

LogMeIn, USB 3… and yet more iPad.

I’m sensing a recurring theme here. At least today’s stories are cut with a little Android and a whole lot of storage.

First up at CNET.com.au, a hands-on first look at LogMeIn for iPad and Android:

LogMeIn For iPad and Android: hands on: “We got a look at where LogMeIn is heading in a mobile sense with a hands-on demonstration for iPad and Android platforms…”

And then at Geeks2U, another Geekspeak blog is live:

USB 3 has plenty of promise, but when will it deliver? “There’s a problem, though. USB 3.0 requires two things to actively work…”

They picked the biggest ball of twine in Minnesota…

For whatever reason, I cannot get that darned song out of my skull. Even good old standby songs, like Kenny Roger’s “The Gambler” can’t throw it out of my head.

While I hum along to Weird Al (and curse the fact that for whatever reason, “Internet Leaks” isn’t available on the Australian iTunes store yet), amuse yourselves with yet more reviews. It’s been a busy week, and nowhere have I been busier than at CNET.com.au:

LogMeIn Pro and LogMeIn Ignition for iPhone: “Remote access doesn’t get much simpler than LogMeIn, but don’t expect it to do absolutely everything for you.”

Jabra M5390 USB: “Jabra’s business-centric Bluetooth headset might be pitched at the boardroom, but it made us feel like we were stuck in a call centre.”
