Google’s own Nexus 7 went on sale in the States recently, but Google was mum on local pricing and availability. This time around, they’re going with bricks and mortar stores rather than online.
Angus Kidman (yeah, he’s that other one) over at Gizmodo notes that the 16GB Wi-Fi Nexus 7 will cost $299, while the 32GB version will be $339 through JB Hi-Fi, Harvey Norman and Dick Smith stores from today. No sign as yet of a SIM-capable version; these are Wi-Fi creatures only.

Not a bad price.. are these ones SD-card expansion crippled? Or can we expand the storage to suit our needs in the future?
