Microsoft’s Surface Pro goes on sale in Australia from today, marking the rather-delayed debut of Microsoft’s legacy-based tablet. Do the differences in hardware and software on the Pro make it a worthwhile investment?
I’d love to be able to say that I could answer that for you, but queries to Microsoft’s PR (from myself and other Aussie tech journalists) were met with the response that they were unable to provide review Surface Pro units, although the same wasn’t the case when I reviewed the Surface RT late last year.
Somebody’s telling fibs, however, as Jason over at TechAu was sent a review unit of the Surface Pro. His initial impressions gel well with what I’ve already read about the Pro, and are well worth reading.
